This Privacy Policy sets out the policies and procedures which SAFE KIDS JOINT STOCK COMPANY, a Vietnamese company having its address at 21st floor, Capital Tower Building, No. 109 Tran Hung Dao Street, Cua Nam Ward, Hoang Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam (“SAFE KIDS”, “we” or “us”) has put in place to protect the privacy of users of our app “Kids247”. By downloading, installing and using the Kids247 provided by SAFE KIDS, you hereunder confirm that you have read, understood, accepted and agreed to abide by the Privacy Policy and any amendments and supplements of Privacy Policy which is published from time to time on Kids247’ website and/or all means, tools, applications and services. Your continued use of the Kids247 after changing time shall be deemed as you agree with changes of this Privacy Policy.

Collection and use of Information in Kids247

1.1. When you first become a Kids247 user, Kids247 shall collect information that you clearly agree to provide us including your name, phone number and your email address.

We collect your name/phone number/email address to create account for you so you can use SAFE KIDS’s services via Kids247 and to make it easy for you to use Kids247. Additionally, we use your data to stay in touch with you, send you updates about Kids247 (including our occasional offers and products), and ask for your input. In the future, we might use it to tell you about potential partners and the services they might provide. We might also use it to make anonymous and/or de-identified data records from your personal information by taking out details like your name that would make the data personally identifiable to you.

At any time, you can ask us to amend or delete the information you have provided to us, unless the laws otherwise provided.

1.2. We also collect, automatically, information about how you have used Kids247: about your settings, your devices’ operating systems, IP address, etc.

We analyse this information to troubleshoot any issues users encountered, to work out how our products are being used and how to improve them.

1.3. We stores data in the database system of and/or under the legal use of SAFE KIDS. All data is stored and used in accordance with the Vietnamese law and international treaties to which Vietnam is a member.

Share of information

We do not share your personal information with third parties other than as follows: (1) with your consent; (2) with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who work for us and need access to your information to do that work, and are required by contract not to use your personal information other than to provide the services requested by us (3) to (i) comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process, (ii) to protect the rights and property of SAFE KIDS, our agents, customers, members, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of use or (iii) in an emergency to protect the personal safety of any person; (4) in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company; or (5) in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, your information may also be transferred as a business asset.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information.

Children’s data

We do not allow children under 13 to subscribe to Kids247.

Action to keep personal data secured

We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, no security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

Compliance with local laws on personal data

We completely comply with Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government on protection of personal data.To the extent we use your personal data, we consider that this is reasonably necessary to protect and promote your and our legitimate interests in the provision of SAFE KIDS’s products and services. In particular, (i) we do not collect any information other than that which we need to collect in order to provide products and services; (ii) we use contact details to provide you with information about our products and services; (iii) we also use contact details to provide information about offers and additional products and services, which is in your and our interests; (iv) we take reasonable steps to secure the data which we collect; and (v) we do not retain data of those who have ceased to be SAFE KIDS customers.

Change of privacy policy

This Privacy Policy is subject to occasional revision, and if we make any material changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you by sending you an e-mail to the last e-mail address you provided to us and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes on our website and/or app. Please note that at all times you are responsible for updating your personal information to provide us with your most current email address. In the event that the last email address that you have provided us is not valid, or for any reason is not capable of delivering to you the notice described above, our dispatch of the email containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice of the changes described in the notice. In any event, changes to this Privacy Policy may affect our use of personal information that you provided us prior to our notification to you of the changes. If you do not wish to permit changes in our use of your personal information, you must notify us prior to the effective date of the changes. Continued use of our services, following notice of such changes shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
